Full Circle Sound is a live session series made for the community, by the community. Black and BIPOC artists from across the diaspora perform in our living room and bring something that ties them to their roots.
How a session works

Two songs, live
The artist performs two songs in the living room. No playback, no distance between them and you.

An object from home
Each artist brings something tied to where they come from. An instrument, a fabric, a book, a dish, a photo.

The conversation
We talk about the object and the story behind it. You walk away having heard great music and knowing something you didn't before.
The Room
A living room as a stage.
Before it was Full Circle, it was just a room. We painted the wall terracotta and filled it with warm textures, plants and pieces from across the continent until it felt like home.
It's built so artists can play the way they would for their family and friends, and so you feel like a guest in that moment.

Why Full Circle
I couldn't find the space I wanted, so I'm building it.
I'm Femi, mixed Nigerian and German, born and raised in Berlin. Over the past decade I've travelled across the continent, to Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Angola, The Gambia, Kenya and South Africa. In every country I found places that moved me deeply, and almost always they were musical ones. I didn't just hear the music, I felt it physically.
In 2025 I walked into a jam session in London and that exact feeling came back. That's when I realised it doesn't have to stay on the continent, it can happen in Europe too. I've lived in Berlin all of my life and never felt it here, so I decided to build that space myself.
Full Circle is that moment, recorded. A place where Black culture is celebrated in all its range, across countries, genres, generations and identities.
